At The Retriever Inn, I believe dogs deserve more than just a place to stay. They deserve care that feels familiar, space to breathe, and the comfort of a gentle, predictable routine. That belief is what led me to create a boarding experience inspired by Golden Retrievers, their calm presence, easygoing nature, and ability to make everything feel just a little more at ease.

As a lifelong dog lover (and proud Golden Retriever mom) who understands just how much trust it takes to leave your best friend in someone else’s care. Inspired by my own dogs and a very short list of people I’d trust them with, I set out to build a boarding experience rooted in calm routines and thoughtful, individualized care.

I'm a native Oregonian and longtime Central Oregon resident, proud to care for dogs in the place I love most. My heart belongs to the high desert, the open skies, and the Goldens who inspired it all. 

​

The Inn is small by design. Every guest is cared for by me, with occasional support from a small, trusted circle, from early morning walks past the pastures to nightly room service and tuck-ins. I keep things intentionally simple: one rate, all the care, no upsells. My approach is rooted in transparency, individualized attention, and genuine affection.

I'm proud to offer Fear Free handling, enrichment-driven routines, and a stay experience designed to help guests feel safe, loved, and at ease, and to help their humans feel just as confident.

While many of our guests are Goldens, we welcome a small number of other dogs who fit seamlessly into this calm, curated environment.
