At The Retriever Inn, we believe dogs deserve more than just a place to stay. They deserve care that feels familiar, space to breathe, and the comfort of a gentle, predictable routine.

The Inn was created by lifelong dog lovers (and proud golden retriever parents) who understand just how much trust it takes to leave your best friend in someone else’s care. Inspired by our own dogs and a very short list of people we’d trust them with, we set out to build the kind of boarding experience we always wished existed: personal, peaceful, and completely dog centered.

We’re native Oregonians and longtime Central Oregon residents, proud to care for pets in the place we love most. Our hearts belong to the high desert, the open skies, and the pups who call it home, even if our house is divided (Go Beavs & Ducks).

The Inn is small by design. Every guest is cared for by us, from early morning walks past the pasture to nightly room service and tuck-ins. We keep things intentionally simple: one rate, all the care, no upsells. Our approach is rooted in transparency, individualized attention, and genuine affection.

We’re proud to offer Fear Free handling, enrichment-driven routines, and a stay experience designed to help dogs feel safe, loved, and at ease, and to help their humans feel just as confident.
